Despite Russia’s economic crisis, money is still rolling into tech.

It’s impossible to ignore the Russian Federation’s ongoing economic crisis. “The overall paranoia is plain,” says Alexander Turkot, head of venture capitalist firm Maxfield Capital. “But it’s always good to do business in Moscow because it’s a source of new ideas. In Russia, to move to Moscow is like moving to Silicon Valley.”
